Game production process at ComAngle. See how it's done.
To begin with, our team needs to collect a great deal of concepts and ideas on each and every game's aspect. As a result, we end up with plans and sketches depicting the main features of a designed game.
Then the client is consulted on all the details including the expectations, design and budget.
After gathering all the necessary data, ComAngle can proceed with creating a first draft of the design document.
All the elements which are crucial in the process of game development are defined in that document and afterwards a document on technical design can be created.
In that phase all the actions have to be monitored carefully as the document has a huge impact on the whole project. ComAngle places a great emphasis on thorough and extensive planning.
After the whole project has gained approval, ComAngle produces prototypes which are tested by the client. At each stage we are open to any new ideas and changes as meeting the target users' needs is one of our most important stipulations.
If at any point the design document needs modifications our team makes the necessary corrections.
At the stage when the developed game can be played the first usability tests are conducted. Their main goal is to gather the players' opinions which are significant in the creation process.
Afterwards, our specialists evolve playable features according to the accepted plan.
As ComAngle's goal is to deliver high quality player experience, we make every effort to carry out credible alpha tests. Engaging large amounts of players, we gain valuable data which can be used to revise the design document.
After final alterations and testing, ComAngle starts producing art, animation and audio.
Another thing is performing dependable load tests to make sure that the environment is adapted to numerous players who will participate.
Subsequently, ComAngle launches the game but even after having the final product we frequently have to develop new features. Players' needs change, new concepts appear and adjusting to the changing environment is an important condition to achieve success. That is why ComAngle applies post-launch production of new features conducted together with testing and iteration.
The whole, fully planned process allows us to create successful games which are highly valued by both our clients and players.
